Let’s Really Talk About Evgeni Malkin, Penguins Future | PHN+

As a scout once told me, “there’s no such thing as off the record.” I’d love to have a real conversation with you, an objective chat about the Pittsburgh Penguins, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, and the future of the three-time Stanley Cup winners. And I’d love to have that chat off the record.

One thing which has gobsmacked me is the vitriol towards Malkin. I can’t read the comments on this webpage, Twitter, Facebook, or any message board without firm, stubborn, anti-Malkin comments. It’s not a criticism; they are attacks.

I can’t post on Twitter, on any topic, without the words, “But Malkin…” showing in the replies. No joke, someone even replied to my criticism of the PA government’s deadly slow vaccine rollout with a Malkin poke.

So, let’s really put the cards on the table—full context and reality.
