Penguins Fans: Vote Most Valuable, Disappointing, & Playoffs

Pittsburgh Penguins, Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel. NHL trade market prices.

The Pittsburgh Penguins claimed 15 of their most recent 18 possible points, yet a pair of losses to the Carolina Hurricanes was a burr in the saddle as the team departed for a few days of holiday R&R.

It’s time for PHN readers and Penguins fans to vote. We’ll publish the results in a couple of days. Below, readers can vote for the Penguins MVP (2nd place), the most surprising, most disappointing, most likely to turn around in the second half, and most likely to be traded.

The Penguins MVP, Sidney Crosby, is also gaining Hart Trophy recognition, inside and outside of Pittsburgh. And for the trade questions, remember, “all of our bad players for all of your good players” only works on Xbox.

A few Penguins players had a rough go, including stalwart defenseman Brian Dumoulin and popular Jeff Carter, who has 14 points in 30 games but a minus-2.

And where do you see the Penguins’ season ending? You don’t get extra points for being the most negative (or positive). Will Penguins fans be more optimistic when they’re anonymous?

Have fun. The result,s of course, will not be submitted to the Penguins nor GM Ron Hextall but will be published on Dec. 26.
