Penguins Skate: Updates on Carter, Graves, Poulin

Published

on

A few new or recently missing faces were on the ice Tuesday for a full Pittsburgh Penguins morning skate at PPG Paints Arena.

Forward Jeff Carter and defenseman Ryan Graves skated, as did Sam Poulin.

Carter has missed the past three games because of an unspecified injury and has been classified as day to day. Graves missed the two-game weekend road trip for family reasons. Coach Mike Sullivan said Carter is a game-time decision for Tuesday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes, and Graves is available to play.

Poulin, wearing No. 22, skated after being recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Noel Acciari was missing, as expected. He left Sunday’s game at  Colorado and on Tuesday was placed on IR, with Poulin being recalled.

The Penguins host the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday night.

There were no unexpected absences.
