Sullivan Signals He’s Open to Penguins Style Changes, But Will They? | PHN+

Pittsburgh Penguins Mike Sullivan

Just how much Mike Sullivan is open to change is a matter of conjecture, but the Pittsburgh Penguins head coach signaled an openness to work with an evolving team on Friday.

We’re probably not talking about a full Darwinian evolutionary change, but Sullivan indirectly answered questions regarding his openness or resistance to change during the coach’s final media availability.

It will also be a matter of discussion just how much “evolution” the Penguins undergo. It’s one thing if Evgeni Malkin or Kris Letang get new addresses. It’s an entirely different matter if some of the Penguins speed is swapped for jam.

That will be a cultural evolution.
