Pittsburgh Penguins Schedule PPG Paints Arena

The NHL announced that due to COVID-related issues affecting the New Jersey Devils, the Tuesday game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and New Jersey has been postponed.

A make-up date for the game has yet to be established. New Jersey’s game on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens was previously postponed.

The Penguins beat the Devils 3-2 on Sunday night at the Prudential Arena. Only two players missed that game, and as of 1 p.m., New Jersey only has two players in the protocol. However, that number figures to rise rapidly over the coming hours as more players are announced.

New Jersey players Nico Hischier, Ryan Graves, and Jesper Boqvist exited protocol and practiced Monday, too.

The Pittsburgh Penguins finished practice at 12:30 p.m. with no further COVID announcements. Only skills coach Ty Hennes is currently in the protocol.

PHN will update the story if more details come available.
