Penguins Plan ‘Pride Night’ Game Tuesday

The Pittsburgh Penguins will sponsor their fourth annual “Pride Game” Tuesday when they face Carolina at PPG Paints Arena.

Announcement of the game by the team said the event “will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.”

Organizations tied to the LGBTQ+ community will have information tables in the concourse behind the Captain Morgan Club.

The Penguins Foundation will conduct an online auction featuring autographed rainbow jersey and pucks, among other items.

LaTrea Rembert, a cast member of Fam Ham and teach at Pittsburgh CLO and Pittsburgh Musical Theater, will perform the national anthem.

Pride Haven, an organization designed to provide shelter for LGBTQ+ youths who are homeless in Pittsburgh, will be in Sidney Crosby’s charity suite Tuesday.
