Broz is 6-foot, 190 pounds and had career-highs in goals (16), assists (24) and points (40) in 43 games during the just-concluded season, which ended with the Pioneers winning the NCAA championship.

He had two overtime goals during the NCAA tournament, the game-winners against UMass and Boston University, and was named to the all-tournament team.

Broz, a native of Bloomington, Minn., began his college career at the University of Minnesota before transferring to Denver after his freshman year.

Wilkes-Barre is going to be pretty stacked for the playoffs. At least on paper they will be. Its a shame that the first round of the playoffs is a best of 3. The team will have to gel pretty quickly
