Penguins Recall Fedun from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Taylor Fedun from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre.

The move comes one day after they assigned defenseman Mark Friedman there.

Fedun, 34, is the Baby Penguins’ captain and has two assists in 30 American Hockey League games this season.

He has five goals and 13 assists in 74 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton since the start of the 2021-22 season.

He has appeared in 127 NHL games with Edmonton, San Jose, Vancouver, Buffalo and Dallas, putting up eight goals and 27 assists.
