Podcast! No Pucks Given 2/24/18: Brassard Aftermath

Published

on

The Pittsburgh Penguins went all in, Friday. Not only did they acquire Derick Brassard, they had to do it a second time after the NHL rejected the first deal.

Penguins GM Jim Rutherford called the Brassard trade the “most complex” he had ever done. The Penguins blue line took a hit as Ian Cole was dealt to Ottawa as a part of the deal and Ryan Reaves was sent to Vegas to balance that leg of the trade.

We get into the new look Pens, new lines, who can replace Ian Cole and if Ryan Reaves toughness will be missed. We hit it hard–the Penguins are all in.
