Watch: Penguins’ Broz Scores Filthy Goal in Da Beauty League
Pittsburgh Penguins prospect and national championship winner Tristan Broz showed off some silky mitts Wednesday evening in the Minnesota-based Da Beauty League.
The league is an annual high-level summer-time gathering of NHL and professional players, often from the Minnesota region. Broz, who is from Wisconsin, originally played college hockey at Minnesota before transferring to Denver, where he helped his team to the 2024 national championship.
Former Penguins Jake Guentzel and Ryan Poehling also play in the league, which runs from July 10 to Aug. 28 at Braemar Arena in Edina, Minnesota.
Broz turned pro last April and played a pair of playoff games for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL. On Wednesday, he collected a loose puck in the slot, moved toward the net, and snapped a wicked shot through his legs.
TRISTAN BROZ JUST DID THAT 😱
