Weaknesses: How and Where the Penguins Can Beat Carey Price

NHL Return Pittsburgh Penguins Patric Hornqvist Carey Price

The Pittsburgh Penguins players dismiss the notions that they got the short end of the stick by drawing a five-game Qualifying Round series against the 12th seed Montreal Canadiens in the upcoming 24-team Stanley Cup tournament. Players downplayed fears over a short set and the possibility that Montreal goalie Carey Price could steal the series.

Those worries which were published on PHN and on other national outlets came from other folks in the Penguins organization, who do not get locker stalls. Inside sources told Pittsburgh Hockey Now in May that coaches were already working on video breakdowns of Price, just after the NHL and NHLPA reached an agreement on the 24-team NHL return.

While the Penguins may not fear Price, he is a primary concern, and how to beat him will factor into the Penguins game planning.
