On Wednesday, the Hockey Hall of Fame will announce their 2020 class live on NBCsn in a made-for-TV press conference. The discussions have likely been underway, but they will officially begin on Wednesday morning when the Hall of Fame committee meets. Some will be in Toronto for face-to-face talks, and others will join via an electronic feed. And the final results should have distinct ties to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Not all of those ties to the Penguins will be good, but they are certainly memorable.

A pair of players who are first-time eligibles should breeze through voting. Jarome Iginla and Marian Hossa should sign their name into the HHOF guest book and have their likeness immortalized among the hockey greats.

And both were Penguins trade deadline acquisitions, with varying results. However, at least one HHOF candidate should elate Penguins fans and bring about fond memories.
