The Pittsburgh Penguins signed Teddy Blueger to a modest two-year deal worth $1.5 million but their offseason is otherwise stuck in neutral. Our Dan Kingerski dishes some inside info on the Penguins RFA progress, analysis of the Penguins offseason including a potential or lack of the potential of a Jack Johnson or Bryan Rust trade.

It was another wild ride from the Pittsburgh Sports Live studios including all of the listener submissions, questions, and a few loaded questions, too. Check it out:

Dan, your rant on JJ on how stupid those of us that disagree with your opinion are, ruined a good show.

You criticize others for not respecting the opinions of others. Poor form!

BTW, JJ is ranked the 103rd left defensemen. That means that he is ranked close to 205th in total defensemen (add in the top 102 RD). After the top 150 defensemen the salary drops to less than $1M and below 200 the salary drops to less than $750K. JJ is grossly over paid for where he is ranked. When the team is in a cap crunch and you have a player by ranking that is $2.5M over paid. That may be the best person to cut and why so many of us would like to see that contract moved.
