College Football Betting Promos: Pitt vs. Michigan State, Bet $5 to Win $200
The 13th ranked Pitt Panthers will finish their magical 10-win season with a Peach Bowl appearance against Big 10 foe and head coach Pat Narduzzi’s previous employer, #11 Michigan State. Pitt fans may want to buckle up because future first-round QB Kenny Pickett who dominated defenses this season, will not play. Redshirt junior Nick Patti will run the Panthers offense. Despite the unknown QB, the point spreads are tight, which means plenty of opportunities on the college football betting boards.
…lots of good Pitt betting opportunities.
Patti, 21, hasn’t started since an early-season game in 2019 against Delaware. Pitt squeaked past Delaware 17-14, and Patti threw two touchdown passes. He served as the primary backup to Picket that season and played in six games, including some action against Florida State. In 2018, Patti was ranked one of the top-20 drop-back passers by Rivals.com.
“We are going to assume that he is the best quarterback we have ever played,” Michigan State safety Darius Snow told StateNews.
Patti is 6-foot-3 with a strong arm but little game experience. We’ll take that into account as we hit the Pitt vs. Michigan State college football bets.

Parlay: Pittsburgh (+2.5) & Under (56.5) points (Fanduel, +260)
The Picket to Jordan Addison connection won’t be there to light up the scoreboard. For Pitt to win, conventional wisdom dictates they need to keep the score in check. Patti probably won’t throw five TDs, but the Pitt offensive line is a force. An inexperienced QB but a good running game and an OL capable of winning in the trenches.
We like the parlay play for a Pitt win with such a small point spread.

Conversely, if you’re uneasy about the Pitt game and follow college football betting wisdom that inexperienced QBs are usually bad bets, Michigan State offers excellent value for smart money.
Michigan State to win by 1-6: +375
Michigan State to win by 7-12: +425
Or–if you’re really uneasy about Pitt’s chances, go big:
Michigan State by 19-24: +1025

As much as we’d like to go big on Pitt, a newb QB against the #11 team in the country–even a Big 10 team–is a bad mix. In the end, don’t dismiss the Pitt Panthers 10-win season, but this probably doesn’t go well. We like Michigan State to win by a lot. Keeping it within two touchdowns might be a moral victory.
Michigan State 31 Pitt 13
Most of the college football betting promos also include a bet guarantee. FanDuel increased to a $2000 free bet if you lose your first one. Good luck and enjoy the game.
