Ryan Graves had some things to say.

SEATTLE– Greetings from somewhere between Seattle, Vancouver, and Calgary as we brave Scare Canada covering this pivotal Pittsburgh Penguins roadie. The Penguins were shooting blanks Thursday against the Seattle Kraken and were shut out 2-0. We’ve got full coverage from the locker room, including Ryan Graves disagreeing with the critical calls against him and a sullen Mike Sullivan. We also looked at one way the Penguins survive without Jake Guentzel, and that includes the “kids” who are dragging Evgeni Malkin into the fight.

Elsewhere in the Daily, the Toronto Maple Leafs were the second team in two days to swing a big, three-team trade. Depending on who you’re more worried about, the Penguins got good news or bad news when the Tampa Bay Lightning lost, but the New York Islanders won.

So, here’s a super PHN+ sale, and for good reason. The Penguins are practicing today in Calgary. This was a bit unexpected, and the change fees to get there in time were absolutely ridiculous. But we paid up to be there. There’s a question I’d like to ask Reilly Smith. Join this hockey media rebellion. Use code Rebound for HALF off! Click here.

There were some pretty good performances. But you know the story. Some really bad luck, a bad power play, and Sullivan made sweeping changes. How Seattle squashed the Penguins and what the Penguins needed to do. Penguins report card.

Go inside the Penguins locker room — Ryan Graves definitely didn’t like the calls against him. Mike Sullivan looked down and shuffled his feet. The Penguins reaction.

PHN+: How will the Penguins survive? The kids are “dragging Geno into the fight.”  Without Jake Guentzel, “Puusty” and “OC” are part of the Penguins’ Penguins’ solution.
