Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney finally locked up RFA Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo, but he’s not out of the woods yet. He has one big contract to go (Boston Hockey Now)

The Calgary Flames released grinder Devante Smith-Pelly from his PTO (The Score)

Some scouts loved him. Some didn’t think he would make the show. The Vegas Golden Knights’ first-ever draft pick Cody Glass is set to make his NHL Debut (NHL.com)

And you may enjoy this. Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson was ejected from the Washington preseason game Sunday after he went after the entire Carolina Hurricanes bench. Yep, all of them. (Russian Machine Never Breaks)
