PHN Extra: #1 Pick Rasmus Dahlin

As expected the Buffalo Sabres made Swedish defenseman Rasmus Dahlin the first overall pick. Dahlin, 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, was the consensus top player in the draft and is viewed as a franchise defenseman. He had seven assists in 10 games at the 2018 World Junior Championships.



Scouts say Dahlin has all of the tools and will only get better. He has elite skating ability, puck skills and hockey sense. Not bad, eh?

Dalhin said he “can’t wait to make (my) hometown Buffalo”
