Penguins Get Tougher? Boyle Still Considers Fighting ‘Important Part Of The Game’ (+)

A funny thing happened on the way to finding out what Brian Boyle thinks about suddenly being Pittsburgh Penguins teammates with Nathan Beaulieu after the two fought earlier this season. We also found out the importance Boyle places on the, uh, time-honored tradition of fisticuffs in hockey.

Of fighting with Beaulieu during a Jan. 23 game between the Penguins and Winnipeg Jets, Boyle indicated there should be no ill will carried over after the Penguins traded for Beaulieu on Monday.
