Pittsburgh Penguins Brian Burke

Brian Burke, fired as the Pittsburgh Penguins’ president of hockey operations last month, will be an analyst on NHL Network for the balance of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The network announced that Dallas Eakins, formerly coach at Anaheim and Edmonton, will fill a similar role for the rest of this postseason.

Burke, who is scheduled to make his first NHL Network appearance Wednesday at 6 p.m., has extensive experience in television, in addition to serving as an executive of numerous NHL clubs and putting in a stint as the league’s chief disciplinarian.

He worked in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ front office for a bit more than two years.

What are the odds he’ll actual tie his tie? (Assuming he wears one.)

He is now totally woke & a hockey dinosar. He is equally responsible for the complete disaster with the Pens….. just as much as Hextall. I was actually excited when he joined the Pens but he was a complete ZERO on multiple levels. Why he would be a sought after Hockey Analyst on TV is beyond me…. He seems to be a one trick pony now. Perhaps it is to wave flags of the woke agenda.

Just another NHL dinosaur that never should have been affiliated with an NHL team.
