Penguins Recall Colin White, Send Shea to Wilkes-Barre

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Colin White from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre and assigned defenseman Ryan Shea to the Baby Penguins.

White was a last-minute addition to the Penguins’ lineup for their game against Carolina Saturday night at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C. after Noel Acciari was a late scratch.

White, who attended the Penguins’ training camp on a professional tryout, has five goals and five assists in 21 games with Wilkes-Barre this season. He has not appeared in the NHL in 2023-24.

Shea does not have any points in 22 games with the Penguins this season or in four with Wilkes-Barre.
