PHN Extra: Introducing Penguins New ‘SCHutdown’ line

Some hockey lines happen accidentally, maybe because of injuries or desperation. Some are a collection of spare parts after a team’s other lines are set. And some are carefully assembled for a specific occasion.
That last description applies to the Pittsburgh Penguins combo of Riley Sheahan, Matt Cullen and Patric Hornqvist, which served as the club’s fourth line Thursday night in a 3-0 win against the Maple Leafs in Toronto. The line remained together at practice Friday when the team stayed in Toronto for practice before traveling west for the remainder of a road trip.
