Penguins Postgame: What the Win vs. Wild Really Means for Pens

All’s well that ends well. The Pittsburgh Penguins were up and down and over and out. They led 3-0 before surrendering three unanswered goals in about 10 minutes to the Minnesota Wild.

However, Sidney Crosby scored a power-play goal, and the Penguins beat the Wild 4-3 at PPG Paints Arena on Monday.

Valterri Puustinen had two primary assists, and Alex Nedeljkovic had 24 saves on 27 shots for his fourth win of the year.

The Penguins remain 13th in the Eastern Conference but are just four points behind the Carolina Hurricanes for the top wild-card spot. However, there are four teams between the Penguins and the second spot, too.
