Dan on the Radio: Guentzel, Puljujarvi, and Penguins Trade Deadline
The Pittsburgh Penguins are quite the topic of conversation around the NHL. From Jake Guentzel’s future to president of hockey operations/GM Kyle Dubas possibly making some earth-shattering moves at the NHL trade deadline, the Penguins have the bright spotlights upon them.
Tuesday, Pittsburgh Hockey Now’s Dan Kingerski appeared on Edmonton Sports Radio 1440 with morning host Kevin Karius.
Dan said it was a lot of fun, Kevin cut to the quick, and there were no vague “out-of-town” questions. The guys also had a good chat about the Penguins power play.
“Put five great musicians playing five different types of music together, and you’ll get a terrible record,” is how Dan described the base power play unit.
Of course, the Edmonton show wanted to know more about Dan’s observations and scouting report on Jesse Puljujarvi.
They also went over Guentzel’s outlook and if Penguins fans want Dubas to trade Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang.
